Welcome to the official web page of the Clear Lake High School Falcon Band Booster Club. The Falcon Band is based at Clear Lake High School in Clear Lake, Houston, Texas, in the Clear Creek Independent School District. This site is designed to inform you about the Falcon Band Program including Color Guard and Winter Guard and Booster Club Activities.

Please join us for an evening of Ensemble Performances, enjoy food from 18 local restaurants and participate in a Slient & Live Auction featuring great bargains on local services, dining and merchandise.

Tickets are $15 each at the door.

Park at Bay Area Blvd & Kruger Way and enter at the breezway doors.

New Webmaster Search

Falcon Band Booster Club Webmaster is 'Graduating' in 2012

Phil Robinson has been our faithful Webmaster, Twitter feed guy, and maintainer of the 'clhsband' distribution list. His daughter is a Senior, so we will need a new Webmaster beginning this summer. For more information, please contact Phil at phil@mpeep.net. Perhaps an 'internship' beginning soon would get our next webmaster up to speed by June.

Chaperone Info for 2011-2012

If you want to travel as a chaperone with the band this year, here's all the information you should need.

CCISD Volunteer Registration

All CCISD volunteer registrations expired on July 20, 2011. Parents and community members wishing to volunteer on a CCISD campus will need to re-register at www.ccisd.net/volunteer before volunteering on any campus. For the safety and security of our students and staff, CCISD conducts criminal background checks on volunteers. For more information, please contact the Office of Communications at 281-284-0020.

2011-2012 Student Inforlmation

For students participating in Clear Lake Falcon Band for the 2011-2012 season, the following information is for you.

First, ALL students, please fill out the Student Information form for 2011-2012 prior to your auditions.

Second, new students, please sign up for our E-mail Mailing List. This list is used by the directors to send band information out to the parents and students. Returning students should alerady be signed up for this list and do not need to do so again.

Pain Free Fundraising News

There are several no extra cost ways you can help the Falcon Band Booster Club fundraising while doing your regular shopping.

Amazon.com
On the band website you can see an Amazon Associates link on the top right of the page. The band can get a percentage (about 4% to 6%) of each purchase you make! Simply use the website link when you add the item to your shopping cart, the band booster club gets the credit, no matter what you buy. Keep this in mind for your Holiday online shopping or anytime.

Kroger Cash Cards
This is a fantastic program we started uaing last year. The band gets 5% of Kroger shoppers' normal grocery purchases. Here's how:

1. We sell you a Kroger cash card for $1. (It has $1 on it)
2. You take it to the Kroger Service Desk and put $100 (or any amount) on the card.
3. Remember to pay for your shopping with the card.
4. Refill it throughout the year at the service desk.

If you are a Kroger shopper and want to support your child's band, please email John at john.gouveia@att.net and he will arrange to get you a card. They will also be available at equimment night.

So far the Kroger cards fundraising has been going well. See the progress meter in the right column. Keep up the great efforts.

At Randalls you can support the Booster Club by designating it as your choice of a charity in the Good Neighbor Program. The number to give Randall's is: 4019
